As Salamu Alikum and hello everyone! Last week was REALLY busy but now we got to get back on track, and into business. I don't have a craft for this week, BUT I do have a haul. Well, this one is smaller than the last one I got last time. But alhamdulillah it was really great to get this stuff. So, here are the things I got. Oh, and by the way, I did make another project, I just didn't have time to put it all together to post it yet, but soon inshallah.
The things I got are mostly from Daiso ( I love that store), and I got two things from Tchibo. The Washi tape and the circular knitting needles came from Tchibo and everything else is from Daiso. So, I almost went crazy in Daiso. Why didn't anyone tell me that Dubai Mall had a Daiso?!!!! Oh my, I almost ran out of words when I thought about it. That Daiso just has SO MUCH MORE THINGS IN IT!!!! I mean, whenever I go to there I get that crazy rush where I want to put all sort things in my cart or basket, but I know I have to think rationally or otherwise I'd have no money left.
But the BEST thing I saw there was HEAD MANNEQUINS!!!! Literally, like it's no joke, when I saw those mannequins, it was like I was hearing that music that plays in movies and shows when they want to show Heaven. You know, that choir "haaa haaaaaa haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" stuff. Astughfirullah. I know it was just me doing that, lol. The mannequins cost 40 AED, and if I had gotten one, then yes, I wouldn't have had any money left to eat lunch with. But I was feeling a little unsure, because even though Dubai Mall isn't that far from my house, I don't know when I'd be able to go again, because that area has so much traffic and all. Plus I'd need a ride or take a taxi, but who'd take a taxi when they can get a ride, for freeeeee!! But also, if I was able to go again soon, who's to say that the mannequins will be there? So sad. But, inshallah I can find them again, that's what I tell myself when I think about it.
I just wanted to show a gift I got from one of my really good friends, because I think it's so cute mashallah! It's a rubber mold, shaped into a teacup, for cupcakes, or whatever you want. I know I will use it for pies, and cupcakes, inshallah.
