As Salamu Alikum and Holla! I really loved the Amish Puzzle Ball that I made before and I remembered seeing on –‘s blog that she had other patterns for different Puzzle Balls, and I wanted to try making one for a girl and I decided to make the Flower Puzzle Ball. I was thinking I would give it as a gift to someone’s daughter but then when it was completed I was unhappy with the result, because of the colors of yarn I chose. I don’t know why I thought those colors looked nice together, especially the yellow. The yellow was actually a last minute change because I was going to use white as the center of the flower, but I didn’t like the way that looked so since I didn’t have a way to the notions shop, I just used some leftover yarn I had. I think the yarn I got is cotton, it doesn't say what kind it is on the packaging except that it is knitting yarn. It's from the same company as the yarn I used to make the chain necklaces. I bought one skein of yarn for each color and started making the wedges. Then I ran out of green so I kind of panicked and thought I was going to run out of yarn for the other colors so when I had the chance to go get some more, I got another skein of each color. Mashallah I barely used up one skein for the flowers and the white yarn used as the edging, so I was able to make other things with those extra skeins of yarn alhamdulillah. Which I will try to show soon inshallah, either with a blog post or on Instagram.
