As Salamu Alikum and hi everyone!
I was brain storming some blog post ideas yesterday, because I really need to, and thought to ask some questions to see if anyone can relate to them and I would give my answer to the questions. I will ask three questions, so let's get started!
I was brain storming some blog post ideas yesterday, because I really need to, and thought to ask some questions to see if anyone can relate to them and I would give my answer to the questions. I will ask three questions, so let's get started!
Do you ever have...
- Really random cravings, at any time of the day? I do. I could be sitting in the living room, eating some cereal, and all of a sudden, I have a craving for a certain kind of food.
Usually the craving is something that I don’t have, and I would either have to go buy it, or make it. When it is something that I can make, I usually don’t have the ingredients. Like the other day. I had this really HUGE craving for a grilled cheese sandwich. I had that craving for about an hour. I couldn’t submit to my craving because: We didn’t have any slice bread or cheese. We also didn’t have a sandwich grill, which id how I wanted it. That whole hour I imagined how it would look, smell and taste. It would be really crispy and crunchy, cut into triangles, and the cheese would be oozing out.
If I stayed up really late, I would crave something that is very unhealthy, like pizza. Or chips, fries, the meat from a hamburger (weird right?), and fried chicken. Man, I love me some homemade fried chicken, especially some chicken shouwn. That’s a word my brothers and I made up years ago for the skin of the chicken, and only for fried chicken. We don’t really have a way to spell it, so I tried my best to spell it how we say it.
- Have dreams that are so real that when you wake up, you wonder what happened to you? I will admit that I have. And they usually are when I am in a store buying makeup that isn’t sold here, and I have this cart FULL of makeup from all the different companies and I might be doing something like going to the register to pay for it all, or talking to someone about a certain color, and I wake up and look around, wondering where the makeup is. Then I realize it was a dream and feel really bummed out.
Or I would be dreaming about food, and wake up really hungry, like REALLY hungry, and my stomach would be growling, feel empty and like it was eating itself.
- Times when you know you aren’t hungry because you ate really recently but you still go to the kitchen and look through the fridge? What if you did that at someone else’s house? You don’t take anything out, you just look inside. Then, let’s say you do see something you want and take it out. If you are in your own fridge, then you would just take it out and eat it, unless you live with other people and it belongs to someone. In that case, you could eat it and then replace it. Or not. If it is someone else’s fridge, then you might ask for it. My brothers and I do that A LOT. I mean, we look through our own fridge, and if we are at my aunt’s then we might look through hers. We stopped doing that as we got older though, since it IS someone else’s fridge and I don’t think she likes when we did it.
